Abel Clip of The Week #6!!
With a long break from making videos i finally made another one. Very sorry for this but just too much going on lately and my stick sucking ass doesn't help. directions go out a lot and i need to buy a new stick but dont really wanna spend the money on that right now. It's hard to make videos without a good stick so i can properly do them so i will try to make do with what i already have and i guess i gotta leave out some stuff. There is a bunch of things i left out i know, but thats how it will be when i make these types of videos because i dont really want super long videos. anyways here is the Clip! its regarding some situational stuff against zangief. hope you guys enjoy and any feedback is appreciated!

With regards to doing early falling sky on Zangief jump ins...
ReplyDeleteWould it also be possible to do the falling sky slightly later, but instead use lp or mp instead of hp because of the shorter start up ? Or does that trade ?
^ ya you can but then it depends on how late you do it, how late zangief does his jump in and what move he does. if you can react to his jump with early fierce falling sky that is best because it is out for a long time and zangief falls into it. there is a chance you can trade or lose if you do it later.

ReplyDelete^ it definitely is a gamble. i mean ya you can beat almost all gief's wake ups (besides jump, up lariat, and backdash) and you can do some damage but you guess wrong and you can be eating fat damage, possible stun (if he neutral jumps and hits with headbutt) or possible ultra. its really dangerous to try the meaty zangief on his wake up. if you are willing to take the risk then go for it but if you guess wrong/he guesses right your back in trouble.
